What We Do

Protect land

We work with landowners and communities to permanently protect the forests, streams, wetlands, and working lands that make the Lower Kentucky River watershed special. Through conservation easements, land acquisition, and long-term stewardship, we safeguard important natural areas, wildlife habitat, clean water, and the character of the places we call home.

Connect people to nature

We believe people protect the places they know and love. Through hikes, paddles, volunteer stewardship, educational programs, and community gatherings, we create opportunities for people to experience the lands and waters around them—and to build a deeper connection with nature and with one another.
