Join us at the West Sixth Farm Birthday Celebration for a guided nature hike through the fields and forests of the farm!
Birds of Fields and Forests
Step into the edges where open meadow meets woodland—and then into the forest itself—to discover the birds that make a living across these connected habitats. This guided hike explores how farms and forests together support species like Indigo Bunting, Eastern Bluebird, and Wood Thrush. We’ll tune into birdsong, watch for movement along fence lines and shaded understory, and see how each habitat offers something different along the way.
No birding experience necessary. Bring binoculars if you have them, comfortable walking shoes, and curiosity for the natural world. Perfect for beginners and seasoned nature lovers alike!
