Hands-on conservation at Backbone Wetland

Join Woods & Waters Land Trust for a morning of hands-on conservation at the Backbone Wetland. During this stewardship day, volunteers will help hand-pull invasive plants that threaten native wildflowers, trees, and wildlife habitat. This simple but important work helps restore the ecological health of one of Kentucky's remarkable wetlands.

No experience is necessary. Volunteers should bring work gloves if they have them, wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and long pants, and be prepared for uneven terrain. Please bring water and dress appropriately for the weather.

Registration is required. Directions to the property will be provided after registration.
