Help Woods & Waters Land Trust remove invasive plants to improve the habitat at the Cove Spring Park wetlands.
During this volunteer day, we'll work together to remove invasive plants on the wetlands side of Cove Spring Park—across Highway 127 from the main entrance to Cove Spring Park—to improve wildlife habitat and forest health.
Bring your mask, boots, work gloves, loppers and water bottle for this socially distant opportunity to work outdoors with fellow conservationists. No experience necessary. Wear layers and solid footwear.
We'll meet at the parking lot on the wetland side, across Hwy 127 from the main entrance to Cove Spring Park. Signs will direct you to the work area where we'll remove invasive plants.
