Woods & Waters Land Trust would like to invite you to be our guest at an On the Table event we are hosting at The Lancaster at 7pm on Wednesday, March 28. Join us and other guests for a community conversation over coffee and cake and be part of an exciting day for Frankfort. On March 28, thousands of people in schools, churches, meeting halls, and homes will gather to share their ideas and aspirations for how to make Frankfort and Franklin County a better place. The results of these conversations will be used to inform decision making about the future of our community. We hope that you will be part of this historic day for Frankfort and Franklin County.
Woods & Waters Land Trust will host a Poetry Reading in downtown Frankfort at the Kentucky Coffeetree Cafe. Past, present, and future poet laureates will read, including Richard Taylor, Frederick Smock, Trina Peiffer, and Jeremy Paden. The Woods and Waters Land Trust will conduct it's annual meeting of the Board of Directors on Monday, January 8, 2018, at 6:00 pm, at the Sower Board Room, Paul Sawyier Public Library, Frankfort, Kentucky.
Items for the agenda include reports from the Executive Director and committees; a review of goals and the strategic plan; budget priorities for 2018; and reviewing, approving, and signing our Conflict of Interest Policy.
This meeting is free and open to the public.

Join your fellow land trust board members at this fun and free social event.
An optional hike begins at 1:30 pm, at the Visitors Center parking area, led by Beverly James, Floracliff Director. A suggested donation of $5-$10 will go directly to Floracliff Nature Sanctuary. We will visit the new tract of land and the historic camping lodge.
The main event begins at 3:00 pm. We will have time to socialize and get to know the staff and boards of our fellow land trusts. Dinner is at 4:30, provided by Athenian Grill, at no cost to KLTC/ WWLT board members.
