Who We Are
Woods and Waters can assist in establishing conservation easements in the Kentucky River watershed in Franklin, Owen and Henry counties. Easements are permanent binding contracts held and monitored by the trust. We will work with landowners to develop guidelines to be followed by future owners of the property that will control its use. Landowners who place their land in the trust will meet federal requirements that may also enable the owner to qualify for tax credits.
